Eskişehir Technical University Environmental Problems Application and Research Center was established on October 7, 2019 and was announced in the Official Gazette numbered 30911, and started to provide test and analysis services on environmental analysis.
The aims and working areas of the center are also determined by this regulation. In line with these purposes, in order to illuminate the air, water, soil, radiation, noise, odor, biological and similar environmental pollution problems arising from solid, liquid, gas, steam, aerosol and other forms of matter and energy losses and wastes, and to propose solutions to these problems. is being worked on. In addition, research, examination and development studies are carried out on all kinds of issues related to environmental problems, and consultancy, expertise, expertise and similar functions are carried out in order to provide knowledge transfer and accumulation in order to raise awareness of the local people and industry. In order to achieve this, studies are carried out to identify and solve the problems faced by public and private enterprises, and the results of these studies are made into reports and publications. These studies are carried out by collecting qualitative and quantitative data through laboratory and industrial scale experiments. Another work area of the center is to organize meetings such as courses, seminars and conferences in cooperation with other organizations. In addition, competitions such as painting, photography, poetry, composition, cartoon and poster can be organized and awards can be given.
In order to realize these goals, modern techniques are applied, new developments are followed, scientific and industrial research and development studies and applications are also carried out in the center.
